Just last week, Forbes (a very well-known business magazine) released their annual list of the world’s most powerful celebrities for 2011. This list is known as the Celebrity 100 and can be found here.
Lady Gaga tops the list at number one and Oprah at number two. Guess who is number three? That’s right, Viral Music Star Justin Bieber.
Let’s think about this for a second.
The Celebrity 100 includes not only singers but actors, athletes, doctors, politicians, super models, and TV personalities just to name a few. Out of all these people, someone who was just a regular person, didn’t come from a famous family, had no famous friends, didn’t know anyone in the music business was discovered online and is now the third most powerful celebrity in the world.
That’s amazing!
Forbes also says he made $53 million this year. That’s enough money to buy you whatever you wanted for the rest of your life…. And he made it all in one year.
